Founded in 2010 by hairstylist Alex Brownsell, Bleach London originated from years of experimenting with bleaching and colouring friends’ hair in a bathroom.
Recognising a lack of dedicated hair colouring salons in the UK, Alex launched her first salon in London after starting from a single seat in a nail salon.
The salon’s success highlighted strong demand for Bleach London products nationwide by 2013. To meet this need, Alex developed a range of at-home bleaching, toning, and colouring kits based on a decade of formula refinement, enabling salon-quality results at a fraction of the cost.
The brand now offers a broad selection including semi-permanent colours and restorative treatments for bleached hair.
